As part of Nether Edge Festival come and learn about the lives of women, rich and poor, linked to the Cemetery. Our book “She Lived Unknown” which complements the tour will be on sale during the afternoon and can be purchased online.

The tour will end at the Samuel Worth Chapel where refreshments can be purchased. The café is open between 12.00pm and 4.30pm.

Book your tickets for the 11.30am or 2.30pm tour – £5 per person plus booking fees. Limited numbers so pre-booking is essential!

Our café and bookstall will be open between 12.00pm and 4.30pm at the Samuel Worth Chapel. Purchases by debit/credit card or phone app (e.g. Google Pay, Apple Pay) only.

The tour starts at The Gatehouse, top of Cemetery Avenue, Sheffield, S11 8NT.

Dogs welcome – please keep on a lead at all times.

Sensible footwear required.

FAQs

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No minimum age but the tour is aimed at adults and is more suitable for children aged over 11.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No need to bring your ticket – we shall have your name on a list and you can be checked in when you arrive.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
On street parking on and around Cemetery Avenue close to the Gatehouse entrance. Nearest bus stops are on Ecclesall Road – Collegiate Crescent stop.

How long does the tour last?
Tours last approximately 1 hour and finish at the Samuel Worth Chapel.
