Sheffield General Cemetery is the final resting place of over 86,000 people. Around 40% of these people do not have a memorial to mark where they are buried. The burial research team at Sheffield General Cemetery Trust work through archival material and records to uncover the stories that are hidden and, in some cases, nearly forgotten.
