Sunday 4th June – Please join us for a very special history walk which will be a great opportunity to see all the work which has been done and learn about our history and the lives of the people buried here. The tour starts at the Gatehouse, Cemetery Avenue, at 1.30pm and 2pm. £5.00 plus booking. Please book online.

Sheffield General Cemetery – Then & Now Photo and film Exhibition. Sat, 3 June 2023 – Sun, 11 June 2023 11am – 4pm Over the last year, Researchers at Sheffield General Cemetery Trust set about documenting personal stories from local residents, staff and volunteers to understand how our unique site has played a part in their lives. This exhibition is a taste of what you will find in our upcoming book which is full of rare photographs and lots of tales of childhood mischief, raising families, making music, making art and forging deeper connections with our City.
