We’re delighted to present a mysterious, spellbinding Halloween show at the Samuel Worth Chapel, featuring The Witching Tale.

Comprised of Katherine Blake (Miranda Sex Garden, The Mediaeval Baebes) and Michael J York (Current 93, The Utopia Strong), this largely electronic project blends ethereal vocals with richly atmospheric soundscapes. Drawing on folklore, nature and the arcane, The Witching Tale weave ancient themes into modern textures, creating a hauntingly beautiful journey through mystical storytelling and bewitching melodies.

Support comes from Jan Doyle Band, known for their dramatic, gothic performances. For this special evening, they promise to explore a more subtle side of their sound – while retaining their signature sense of style and theatricality.

We’re also excited to present the debut live performance of Sheffield goth duo The Greystone Sisters. Gaining attention for their releases The Veil and Paranoia, praised by Mick Mercer for their “queasy romance” and “impressive, sour charm”, their live debut is set to be a captivating addition to the night.

Sure to be a spellbinding Halloween evening of dark atmosphere, haunting soundscapes and captivating live performance in one of Sheffield’s most unique venues.
