Tour starts at the Gatehouse, Cemetery Avenue, Sheffield, S11 8NT and ends at the Samuel Worth Chapel where refereshments will be available.

Join Gerry Firkins to explore and discover more about the Cemetery’s mixture of diverse habitats in a gentle wander around the Cemetery. Gerry is a local botanist and has led field meetings for Sheffield University, WEA and the RSPB since the 1980s. He has also taught plant ID for several years. Now retired, Gerry has a keen interest in plants in the Cemetery.

Tickets: £5.00. Suitable for adults & children ages 12+. All children must be accompanied by a ticketed adult.

This is a fundraising event where proceeds will support the charitable aims of the Sheffield General Cemetery Trust.

Tickets for this event are non-refundable. However, If for any reason the event is cancelled by SGCT, we will refund your ticket. If you have bought a ticket but are unable to attend the event, please contact us so we can try to reallocate it.
