Join us for a magical journey through the night sky as the University of Sheffield’s inflatable planetarium takes over the Samuel Worth Chapel.
Step inside this immersive, dome-shaped inflatable and explore stars, constellations, and cosmic wonders – all without leaving the ground. It’s a unique opportunity to experience the universe in one of Sheffield’s most atmospheric heritage venues.
Whether you’re a curious stargazer or just looking for a family-friendly adventure, this is a summer event you won’t forget.

Event Details
- Sessions start at 11.00am and last for 20 minutes with a maximum of 15 people in the planetarium at one time.
- Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Maximum of two children per adult.
- Location: The Samuel Worth Chapel, Sheffield, S11 8NT
- Accessibility: The Samuel Worth Chapel is fully accessible.
- Facilities: The Samuel Worth Chapel has a fully licensed bar selling local beers, wines and spirits. Please note, our preferred method of payment is by card.
- Tickets: All tickets are sold online via Ticketsource. No tickets are available on the door and bags will be checked upon entry.

- Tickets for this event are non-refundable. However, if for any reason the event is cancelled by Sheffield General Cemetery Trust, we will refund your ticket.
