This May, Keystones Piano Festival returns for a week of piano music in the historic Samuel Worth Chapel thanks to the loan of a Steinway grand piano from Music in the Round. Featuring a varied lineup of contemporary and classical compositions, this celebration of piano offers an intimate and atmospheric experience in our unique heritage setting.

On Sunday, as evening falls, join Ensemble 360 for a richly expressive concert of chamber music, performed as darkness descends over Sheffield General Cemetery.

This beautifully curated programme brings together quartets and quintets of warmth, lyricism and drama – from the elegance and charm of Mozart’s Oboe Quartet to the vivid storytelling of Weber’s Clarinet Quintet. At its heart is Korngold’s sumptuous Piano Quintet, a work of sweeping emotion and cinematic beauty, whose haunting slow movement evokes the rising moon in music of extraordinary tenderness and depth.

A fitting close to Keystones Piano Festival – reflective, romantic and quietly spellbinding.

Tickets: £23.00
