John Hegley New & Selected Potatoes

Prepare to laugh, sing and be gloriously entertained as John Hegley brings his greatest hits (with a few surprises) to the Samuel Worth Chapel.
Dubbed “comedy’s poet laureate” by The Independent, John has delighted audiences across the UK and beyond with his unique mix of poetry, wit, song, and unmistakable charm. This special performance gathers together some of his most beloved and best-known work – with seriously funny, cleverly crafted poems on everything from love, family and France to dogs, dads, gods, carrots, spectacles and, of course… potatoes.
A firm favourite of the Edinburgh Festival, John has also appeared on countless radio and television programmes, winning devoted fans with his playful, poignant and wonderfully odd humour. His best-selling collections, including Peace, Love & Potatoes, My Dog is a Carrot and Uncut Confetti, have cemented his status as one of the UK’s most original and endearing voices.
