Folk at The Chapel Presents Hannah Scott

Sheffield General Cemetery Trust is delighted to welcome contemporary folk artist Hannah Scott to the Samuel Worth Chapel for an intimate evening of storytelling through song.
Over the past 15 years, Hannah has established herself as a gifted songwriter whose music is shaped by human stories, with family life – in all its chaos and beauty – at its heart. Her powerful lyrics and hauntingly familiar voice strike a deeply personal yet universal chord, often moving audiences to tears.
Career highlights include having her song No Gravity featured on the international hit TV series Grey’s Anatomy, a live BBC Radio 2 session with Dermot O’Leary, and opening for Madeleine Peyroux in front of 2,000 people. She has also toured with folk greats such as Seth Lakeman, Cara Dillon, and Fairport Convention, and graced the stages of Cambridge, Sidmouth, and Manchester Folk Festivals.
Now touring her latest album, Absence of Doubt, Hannah brings her moving and atmospheric music to the evocative surroundings of the Samuel Worth Chapel. Don’t miss an evening of unforgettable songwriting and storytelling.
