Dylan Fowler
Sheffield General Cemetery Trust is delighted to welcome Dylan Fowler to the Samuel Worth Chapel for an evening of expressive and internationally acclaimed acoustic guitar.
A Welsh guitarist and composer with a career spanning more than four decades, Dylan Fowler is known for his distinctive solo performances and wide-ranging musical influences. His work draws on the Celtic traditions of Wales, while weaving in elements of European jazz and global styles, creating music that is both deeply rooted and richly exploratory.
A long-standing recording artist with Acoustic Music Records, Dylan’s latest album Ebb & Flow (2024) reflects his musical journey across cultures and continents. He has performed and collaborated with artists including Danny Thompson, Richard Thompson and Don Ross, and has toured extensively across Europe, North America and beyond, appearing at major festivals such as WOMAD, the BBC Proms and Festival Interceltique de Lorient.
As a performer, Dylan is celebrated for his expressive playing and intricate, genre-blending compositions – creating a sound that often feels far greater than a single instrument. His music moves effortlessly between traditional melodies, contemporary arrangements and global influences, offering audiences a captivating and immersive live experience.
Be sure to join us for an evening of masterful guitar and musical storytelling in the unique surroundings of the Samuel Worth Chapel.
