Cemetery Sessions Present: Lou Barnell, Stephen Carley & Teddy Hunter
Three artists will join us at the Samuel Worth Chapel for a night of experimental sound, immersive performance and music that resists easy description.
Lou Barnell creates what she calls ‘Live Dreams’ – immersive worlds built from wearable technology, voice, sculpture and sensory experience. Expect squishy, visceral soundscapes and brutal beats.
aUDIOMAPS is Stephen Carley – described variously as “Hieronymous Bosch meets The Clangers” and “Bruce Nauman arguing with Vic and Bob in a ball pool…“
Teddy Hunter is a Cardiff-based audiovisual artist and electronic musician whose work explores ecology, field recording and the sounds of the forest. Characterised by dreamy loops, gradual builds and synthesized melodies.
An evening for open ears and curious minds, in one of Sheffield’s most atmospheric venues.
