Cemetery Plants Tour
Join Gerry Firkins to explore and discover more about the Cemetery’s mixture of diverse habitats in a gentle wander around the Cemetery. Gerry is a local botanist and has led field meetings for Sheffield University, WEA and the RSPB since the 1980s. He has also taught plant ID for several years. Now retired, Gerry has a keen interest in plants in the Cemetery.
Tour Details
- The tour will last approximately 1hour 45minutes.
- Suitable for adults and children aged 12+ (all children must be accompanied by a ticketed adult).
- Tour starts at the Gatehouse, Cemetery Avenue, Sheffield, S11 8NT and ends at the Samuel Worth Chapel where refreshments and a book shop will be available.
