Cemetery Fungi Walk

Step into the fascinating world of fungi with a guided walk through the Cemetery, led by expert Ziggy. Discover the incredible variety of mushrooms and toadstools that thrive in this historic landscape and learn more about their role in the natural world.

The walk will take you across different areas of the Cemetery, highlighting seasonal species and offering insights into their unique characteristics. Please note that some paths are steep and uneven. The walk will last approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the weather.

Child: £2.50 (all children must be accompanied by a ticketed adult)

Event Details

• Location: The Gatehouse, Cemetery Avenue, Sheffield, S11 8NT
• Accessibility: The historic nature of the site and the sloping landscape mean that not all spaces are fully accessible. Paths may be uneven and there are steps on some paths. Find out more here.
• Tickets: All tickets are sold online via Ticketsource. No tickets are available on the door.
• Please note, there is no minimum age but the tour is aimed at adults and is more suitable for children aged over 10. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• This ​tour is not suitable for dogs.
