A Night of Bizarre Magic, Strange Tales & Classic Horror

Step back in time to the golden age of the traditional Spook Show — an eerie theatrical experience inspired by the mysterious shows that entertained audiences in theatres from the 1920s onwards.
Join us for an evening of bizarre magic, strange storytelling, supernatural surprises and theatrical trickery, all taking place within the atmospheric surroundings of the chapel.

The evening begins with a collection of bizarre and mysterious performances inspired by the classic Spook Shows of the early 20th century. Expect strange tales, unusual magic and supernatural happenings as we attempt to bring the spirit of these long-forgotten theatrical shows back to life.
For the second half of the evening, settle back for a screening of the classic 1959 black-and-white horror film House on Haunted Hill, starring Vincent Price.

After the performance, explore our Cabinet of Curiosities — a collection of strange, unusual and mysterious objects for you to examine and discover.

With its historic surroundings and haunting atmosphere, the chapel provides the perfect setting for a traditional Spook Show. For one night, we’ll transform the space into a theatre of mystery, magic and horror.

• Tickets: All tickets are sold online via Ticketsource. No tickets are available on the door.
