Cemetery Sessions welcomes Marconi Union to the atmospheric surroundings of the Samuel Worth Chapel for an evening of immersive, genre-defying sound.

Known for their ability to transcend musical boundaries, Marconi Union blend elements of dub, jazz, ambience, minimal techno and electronica to create music that feels both meditative and cinematic. Their sound – a seamless mix of spaced-out guitar riffs, textured synths and evolving melodies – has drawn comparisons to Kraftwerk, Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream, Boards of Canada and Biosphere, yet remains uniquely their own.

Tracks from their acclaimed new album, The Fear of Never Landing, have been described as “electronic head music” and “a new kind of electronic shoegaze”, confirming the trio’s reputation as innovators within the ambient and experimental music scene.

Over their career, Marconi Union have collaborated with Jah Wobble, Max Richter, Biosphere, Steve Jansen (Japan)and the Marina Abramović Institute, and have performed at international festivals including Big Chill and Punkt! Festival in Norway where they were invited by Brian Eno to remix live performances.

The evening will open with a specially curated Marconi x Zogg ambient set from Greg Zogg (Planet Zogg), setting the tone for an unforgettable night of introspective, atmospheric soundscapes.

“Minimal, introspective, ethereal electronica – gorgeous.” – The Guardian
“Exquisite, subtle soundscapes – an essential purchase for ambient addicts.” – DJ Mag
“Brilliant… almost like some dirty little secret – it’s fantastic.” – Andrew Vevers
