Susie Wilson is a Scottish poet living in Sheffield. Nowhere Near As Safe As A Snake In Bed, out with Verve now, won the 2024 Disabled Poets Prize. It charts the absurdity of living with advanced melanoma and the cutting-edge science used to treat it, with dark humour and hope.
Fiona Hutchings is a Sheffield born poet who writes about life, death, mixtapes and explores expectations and assumptions. Her chapbook Uncommon Labels, exploring the many labels she has been given, accepted, chosen and rejected, was published by Written Off Publishing in 2024.
