Death Cafe

End of Life Doula, Penny Merrett will be hosting our very first Death Cafe, here at The Samuel Worth Chapel, Sheffield General Cemetery.
At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death. Our objective is ‘to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives’. A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.
There is a suggested donation of £5 per ticket which goes towards the work of Sheffield General Cemetery Trust.
Limited to 10 people per session.
**** This event is extremely popular so if you book a ticket but can not attend, please contact [email protected] so we can relist your ticket.****
