Sheffield General Cemetery Trust are excited to host our third Chef’s Counter event at The Samuel Worth Chapel.

Chef’s Counter is a social enterprise hospitality events company that hosts incredible food based events in underused community spaces. They support the charities and community groups who run those spaces through the rents they pay, the people we bring together in those spaces and the jobs they create.

For October, at our General Cemetery street food feast, we celebrate the food of Antigua…

Jerk chicken or jerk cauliflower bites with mango hot sauce and salsa

Curried mutton or sweet potato, spinach and bean curry served with rice and peas
Coconut cake with rum cream

Our bar will be open selling local beers, wines, spirits, non-alcoholic and hot drinks.

Thu 19th October 2023, 6:00pm – 9pm

£18.00 Plus Booking Fee   All tickets sold online via TICKET SOURCE, no tickets on the door.

Proceeds from this fundraising event go to SGCT to help us look after Sheffield General Cemetery, our 2 Grade II* listed buildings and to inform and educate about the history of this unique green space.
